Snow !

        The cold snap delivered a good layer of snow to West Kent and to Crow Wood, although getting there to enjoy it over very icy roads was not possible until the roads were salted and gritted. When we did finally manage to get there to re-supply our log burner the sub-zero temperatures and lack of wind had left the branches covered in frost and the snow piled up.....it was really magical. Now after the recent thaw, the snow has all gone and the wood is back to green. In many respects the winter is still young and just maybe we will get another cold snap to enjoy early in 2023.....I hope so. Selfishly I really like a cold winter.
